Tim Meyer - Business Development Manager
We are delighted to announce that Tim Meyer has joined ICTNexus as our new Business Development Manager.
Based in the Cook Islands since 2010, Tim brings deep regional knowledge and a global perspective, with academic credentials from both the University of Canterbury (NZ) and the University of Hamburg (Germany). Tim’s professional journey includes over a decade managing high-end resorts across Rarotonga, Manihiki, and Aitutaki, where he drove operational excellence and implemented innovative sustainability initiatives to reduce both energy usage and CO₂ emissions.
As part of the management team at MOTU Beachfront Art Villas, Tim contributed to the resort winning four awards at the 2025 Air New Zealand Tourism Awards, including the Air NZ Supreme Award, and receiving international accolades such as ranking among the top 1% of resorts worldwide and being named Rarotonga’s best place to stay on Tripadvisor. As co-founder of GEFF Ltd, he championed responsible tourism and sustainable development throughout the Pacific. In addition, Tim has played an active role in the AHK Green Hydrogen project, further advancing his commitment to renewable energy and the region’s transformation.
Earlier in his career, Tim’s work as a PADI Dive Instructor sparked his dedication to protecting fragile island environments, an ethos that now fuels his passion for sustainable energy.
At ICTNexus, Tim will focus on expanding our Smart-Island solution for all Pacific Islands—including the entire Cook Islands, as well as New Zealand and Australia. We are confident that his international expertise and close local relationships will help accelerate the shift toward sustainable energy across the region.
Welcome to the team, Tim!
